Dr. Prafulla Kumar Mishra is a highly respected Senior Pediatric Surgeon with over 40 years of experience in medical practice and more than 31 years dedicated exclusively to Pediatric Surgery. He is a former Professor of Pediatric Surgery at N.R.S. Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, one of India’s premier government medical institutions.
Dr. Mishra has been extensively involved in clinical care, teaching, academic research, and medical leadership throughout his career. He has trained multiple MCh Pediatric Surgery students and served as an examiner and question-paper setter for postgraduate and post-doctoral examinations under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
He retired from government service in August 2019 and continues to contribute to pediatric surgical care, academic guidance, and clinical consultations.
